Deep Ocean Sampler with Underwater Hyperspectral Imaging System

The Deep Ocean Sampler is a cutting-edge 6000-meter-rated Light Work Class ROV equipped with advanced Underwater Hyperspectral Imaging (UHI) via our proprietary Hypercam, a precision manipulator arm, versatile sampling tools, and high-resolution scanning sonar.

This fully integrated platform empowers you to:

  • Fly precisely over targets of interest
  • Conduct detailed seabed surveys using the UHI Hypercam for non-invasive hyperspectral material identification
  • Collect physical samples for surface recovery
  • Perform on-site sample crushing and immediate in-situ chemical/mineralogical analysis—without needing to return materials to the surface

Transform your deep-sea exploration workflow. Move beyond traditional multi-week acoustic mapping followed by selective physical sampling. With a single efficient pass, the Deep Ocean Sampler delivers a comprehensive, non-invasive optical and chemical profile of the seafloor—accurately identifying and geo-referencing every material, mineral, polymetallic nodule, cobalt crust, and hydrothermal vent signature in real time.

Backed by >95% material classification accuracy demonstrated in rigorous Gulf of Mexico trials, this system provides unparalleled precision and efficiency for deep-ocean mineral exploration, environmental monitoring, and scientific research.

We build every system to your exact specifications. Contact our sales team today at info@benthicspectral.com for a custom quote and delivery estimate. Discover the future of intelligent seabed intelligence.
